BioI write music. I complain. I live and breathe and love and argue with my friends. I eat. I sleep. All of these are normal things. There are surprising things about me, but then there are surprising things about everyone. In many ways I'm surprisingly, disappointingly normal. In others I'm remarkably unexceptional. I can be very droll, and yet quite boring. I can be quite dry, and yet rather childish. I am as much of an enigma to myself as are most other people. Whosoever it was that said "know thyself" set us an unbelievably hard task. Every time I push that particular boulder to the top of the mountain, and I have done so several times over the course of my life, it rolls back down. And so I curse him. Waste of energy, but I curse him anyway. Maybe one day I’ll quit caring that I don’t know myself and on that day I shall both quit cursing silly people who say silly things, and know myself for the first time. It shall be a paradox. I foresee it. Would that foresight actually worked.
